Escrow payments

Funds are captured at checkout and held until the buyer approves the delivery. If a dispute is opened, our team mediates a resolution before funds release.

Disputes

Either side can flag an order. For low-value orders ($10 or $20), we use an AI-mediated resolution flow that proposes an outcome based on the order history and messages. Either party can escalate to a human agent.

File security

• All uploads are stored in private storage (S3-compatible) with signed download URLs.
• Deliverables are scanned for malware before becoming available to buyers.
• Buyer requirements and seller deliverables are encrypted at rest.

Account security

• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.
• Sessions use HTTP-only, strict-mode cookies.
• All state-changing forms include CSRF tokens.
• Rate limiting protects login, registration, and checkout endpoints.
• Two-factor authentication coming soon.

Prohibited content

FixedPriceHub does not allow listings that involve illegal services, academic dishonesty, deceptive engagement (e.g. fake reviews), or anything that violates third-party terms of service.
